This fish is blue with white lips.

They are not an easy fish to spawn and often do not spawn in colder months. Therefore they may not be available year-round. 

Best kept in single all-male tanks with peacocks and milder haplochromines. 90 gallon or larger tanks recommended.  It is hard to beat the color of an all-male African Cichlid Tank.

The best group for breeding this fish is one male with five or six females.

Occasionally brought into stock in 3 inches and larger males. Otherwise available only through my special order list. Males are rarely available. When you see them listed, grab it.
