One of the most colorful and rare Lethrinops species. Males have blue on the lower portion of their faces. Yellow appears on the top of their head and body. Kande has a red tail with a large dorsal fin with red mixed into it. The upper edge of their dorsal fin is light blue with some red mixed into the top edge. Anal fins are orange with multiple egg spots.

The base price is for a 2.5" Male. These fish are grown out from smaller sizes obtained from my wholesaler and from in-store fry.
Best kept in single male mix tanks with other milder peacocks and Lake Malawi Haplochromis or in single-species tanks. It is hard to beat the color of an all-male African Cichlid Tank.
Lethrinops work best with milder peacocks and milder haps. They do not generally work well with larger more aggressive haplochromines. See compatibility chart.
A group of one male with five to six females is best for breeding.
2" and smaller sizes of this fish should be kept with one teaspoon per gallon of plain table salt in their water.
