Paralabidochromis chromogynos Black Piebald are cream with black spots. Males develop a yellowish body with black blotches, blue on the face, both light blue and dark blue on the dorsal fin with a thin upper red edge, blue and red tail, red anal fin and dark blue ventral fins. The photo is of a male in full breeding dress. Female fry from this fish can occasionally show no piebald spots. C.A.R.E.S. Mildly aggressive Victorian, However, Males are very aggressive to each other.

Best kept in a breeding group with mbuna or sometimes in single male tanks with a few other African Cichlids (See Compatibility Chart

The best mix of sex for breeding is one male with five or six females.
