Usisya Flavescent males have a bright blue face and a yellow body. At first, the yellow on their body is mostly on the shoulder, but it spreads as they get older to the entire body and tail. They sport black on their dorsal fin and a lower fin which runs along most of the lower body. They are one of the more attractive types of the yellow peacocks. Females are cream with brown stripes. These fish are somewhat rare and not always available in the hobby. These fish can be slow to color and may hide color at first when they are shipped. This fish is shy when first shipped and may hide some color. This fish can be slow to show full color. My photo is of a part color male. For a better idea of what a male will look like when it develops full color go to http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=672
These fish are occasionally available through my special order lists.
Base Price is currently a 3" Part Color Male.
