These fish are being grown out from smaller sizes obtained from my wholesaler and an occasional spawn. As I get more spawns, I hope to be able to hold the price steady on this fish. If I do not get spawns, they become a special order only fish.
Males will be scarce for a while until I get some to grow out. This fish sells rapidly and is hard to obtain in anything larger than 1 to 1.5" from the wholesaler at this time.
Little color males have egg spots on the anal fin only.
1/2 color males have part color plus egg spots on the anal fin.
Lethrinops work best with milder peacocks and milder haps in single male tanks. See compatibility chart. 75 gallon or larger tank recommended. It is hard to beat the color of an all-male African Cichlid Tank.
The best group for breeding this fish is one male with five to six females.
