Males are yellow with blue on the lower face. Orange may appear on their tail and upper rear dorsal fin. Similar to Benga in color. They tend to hold color better than Benga in mixed male tanks.
This is a rare peacock from Germany. The original colony of these fish are located in a national park and are no longer available for import. Recently an additional colony of these fish was located in the Chidunga Rocks area outside of the National park which is allowing them to return to the Hobby.
Last, count 04/18/2019. Next, count due 05/03/2019 These fish are being grown out from smaller sizes obtained through my wholesaler. If they sell well, they will be grown out in the future from fry. Keep in mind fish grow out from fry are less expensive and if I am able to grow this fish out from fry, I will eventually be able to lower their price.
