• Placidochromis johnstoni

Males have a grey face with a green tint on the body. Stripes on the body that may be hidden at times. They also show red on the tail and dorsal fin. These fish can be slow to color, however, some juveniles may have a greenish tint. They eat fry and invertebrates in the wild. Mixing them with smaller mbuna is not advised.

This fish is primarily available through my special order lists and a few 3" or larger males may be brought in from time to time as well.
