Blue peacock with red shoulders with dark red ventral fins and have the color red mixed into blue their tails. The photo is of the breeder male. My Red Shoulders are an exceptional strain and tend to show a very nice color especially when they get larger. This fish is somewhat common in the hobby, but this strain is well above average. Please do not overlook them. They are one of the very few African Cichlids with true Red in their color.
Last, grow out count 05/30/2019. Next, grow out count due 06/21/2019. Grow out counts are counts of the fish in stock checking for additional males and increases in size. This fish is being discontinued from stock. I will likely not be able to get a strain this nice in this fish again. Grab one before they sell out.
Base Price is 2.5" Male

Best kept in single males in all male tanks, may work in groups of three or more males, though some secondary males may not achieve full color. 55-Gallon or larger tank recommended. It is hard to beat the color of an all-male African Cichlid Tank.
The best mix of sex for breeding is one male with five or six females. 29 gallon or larger tank recommended.
Please note: No sex is guaranteed on sex uncertain fish. Watch for groups with guaranteed males and females for certain sexed fish in a group. Broods are about 50/50.
