Cyrtocara moorii Blue Dolphin Males are blue and they develop a hump on their head. Females are lighter in color and may also develop a hump on the head. They are a shy and peaceful fish that needs similar tank mates. My wholesale source has a premium strain of this fish.

Best kept in their own groups. Tricky in single male tanks with milder Lake Malawi Haplochromines. (See Compatibility) not compatible or iffy with several other fish of similar color or several other types of African Cichlids.)
The best mix of sex for breeding is one male with five or six females.
