Xystichromis sp. Flameback males have a green and silver lower body and a red upper body. A black vertical line divides the body. Their tail is red and their dorsal fin has a red upper edge. Females are dull green and silver with a black vertical line across the middle of their body. These fish are a rare find in the hobby. C.A.R.E.S. Program Fish, Vulnerable, facing a high risk of extinction in the wild in the medium-term future. Males may hide color at first.
