Males have a more rounded head than other Lethrinops types. The upper portion of their body is turquoise with some red mixed into it. The lower portion of their body is yellow. They have red and grey-blue on the dorsal fin with a white upper edge. Their tail is blue with red mixed through it. This is a rare type of Lethrinops in the hobby.
The base price is a 2.5" Male.

These fish are being discontinued from my grow-out stock. They are hard to get to show color unless they are kept in groups with females. Best kept in a breeder group of one male with five females.
2" and smaller sizes of this fish should be kept with one teaspoon per gallon of plain table salt in their water.
75 gallon or larger tank recommended for single male mixed tanks. These fish mix best with Peacocks and Milder haplochromines. They do not work well with larger more aggressive predator haplochromines. It is hard to beat the color of an all-male African Cichlid Tank.
20 gallon or larger tank recommended for breeder groups.
The best mix for breeding is one male with five to six females.
